There is only one body in eternity and that is the body of Christ.
The truth of his reality is clear from a reading of John 17. Jesus prays:
19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. 20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. KJV
Those of us who are members of the Church of Brotherly Love have given up our separate existence and we live as one body in Christ. We have given our will, our lives, (our/selves) completely to him.
We are individually members one of another, we are in you and you are in us even as Jesus is in the Father and the Father in Him, and we are in Him and in each other.
3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. 4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. NKJV
Those of us who have given up thinking of our lives as being separate from others in the body of Christ, experience the true depths of sobriety.
For a complete discussion of this oneness in the body of Christ, read Absolutely Sober Chapter 13, “I”.
